Who we are

We are a community of students at the University of Edinburgh committed to advancing technology and engineering. We are a part of the IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional organization. The University of Edinburgh Student Branch organises events, workshops, and acts as a point of contact for the IEEE in the University.

What we do

Educational events

Gain insights from professors and industry leaders in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and other disciplines through hosted talks at the University.

Workshops

The Student Branch occasionally hosts technical and non-technical workshops for University students.

Point of contact

We act as the closest point of contact with the IEEE at the University of Edinburgh. We have previously hosted events such as the IEEE Community Engagement Townhall Meeting in April 2024.
